I have made a few field cards to sell at the exhibition. Little patchwork textures.
Today is my 65th birthday. I can get a bus pass and at some point during the next year a pension. Slowing down and always more tired it shouldn't come as a surprise but I always ask myself How did that happen?
Your fields are wonderful. I just have to say age sometimes has it's benefits. The biggest is a bit of wisdom after making a lifetime of mistakes!! I always think of mistakes as lesson, so I am very well schooled. Enjoy all the time and leisure you have earned.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth, and thank you for your wise words. You are so right about learning from mistakes. When I was young I felt a failure at my mistakes, pity i couldn't go back in time and tell myself not to worry so much!
Delete(((Louise))) may you have many more happy returns in your golden years! One of the best things about getting on in years here in the Land Down Under is the gold opal card, I can travel anywhere all day in the Sydney region for $2.50!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mo- Happy traveling and thanks for your sharing so we can go along with you. The amazing benefits of a blog!
DeleteThe cards are wonderful! I'm especially drawn to the last two. Happy birthday a bit late! We're the same age (though I'll turn 66 in August). Time goes so very fast, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteThank you Stephanie. 'Who knows where the time goes?' is a beautiful song and oh so true!
