Here are the March days in my journal. Photos taken in bright sunshine on my desk. So many Spring flowers appearing now. Life seems more cheerful. The Guild Gallery opens April 14th at Chapel Arts in Cheltenham. The Guild Exhibition will be at Rodmarton Manor early Sept. So things to work for! It seems like we have all had a long hibernation and now its Easter. Have a great holiday everyone, a few days to relax AND there's chocolate.
Beautiful work! Looks like spring has been ts of fun for you. I always enjoy seeing your flowers and birds. Here in Michigan, our spring has only just begun. Daffodils and Crocus has been all so far, but anticipation is almost as good as realization. :-)
ReplyDeletethank you and hope Spring won't be long for you.
Deleteoh these observations are fabulous, your birds are so alive & love seeing the drawing of the fritillaria, have only ever seen them in photographs!
ReplyDeletewell these aren't wild ones but they are so beautifully patterned and they do grow wild in some areas.Thank you Mo.
DeleteI could blow them up 3x their size on my massive monitor. Faves were Greylin(?) goose and Brimstone butterfly.
ReplyDeletethanks Beth. Yes Greylag geese are nesting on a nearby lake and honk when they fly in.
DeleteI love your drawings Louise. My favourites are the wren and the dove, beautiful! What sketch book do you use? The paper looks lovely and textured.
