March Perpetual journal.

Here are the March pages from my perpetual journal. What a strange time it has been for us all. The last picture is a collar dove, a symbol for me of peace and gentleness. Leaving you with that then. Take care all.

  1. Really Lovely Louise. The dove even LOOKS peaceful! It will soon be over. We are all in this together.

    1. They are such charming, gentle birds. They always steer clear of the bossy magpies, pigeons or blackbird. Yes certainly all in this together.

  2. Lovely Louise. And, as they chart the return of spring, these delightful drawings send me optimism that things will eventually return to something recogniseable as near normal - but not ever the same.

    1. It is great to watch nature carrying on as normal! So much is coming into leaf and blossom. Let's hope for good changes in the future - after the war they longed for a world fit for heroes didn't they? My auntie of 101 keeps remembering all the war time slogans.

  3. little wrens with their outsize voices are a long-time favorite ... you have captured the jaunty pose of this one perfectly, from upright tail to beady eye ... I hope it decides to nest nearby

    1. So do I, they are such busy little things, bundles of energy. Thank you I am very fond of wrens.
