Holiday in Falmouth Cornwall.

A few holiday pictures from Falmouth, Cornwall. We had 2 rainy days and the rest was mostly sunshine- not bad for England! Falmouth harbour.
Grey mullet from the Maritime Museum viewing basement- there was a glass panel into the harbour, so these are not in an aquarium but free fish.
 The King Harry chain ferry.
 Trebah beach and gardens.

A victorian shell grotto and limpets on the beach.

  1. It looks like you had a lovely vacation. We have a Falmouth here in Maine as well. Same ocean, different side.

  2. It was an important naval port but mostly pleasure craft now with just a few smaller naval boats. I wonder if folk who left for Maine mostly came from our Falmouth?

  3. We have a plethora of matching cities like Portsmouth, Bangor (Ireland), Bath, South Hampton, Bristol and on and on hence NEW England.
