Hedges and Edges detail and a new piece begun.

Some close up detail as promised of Hedges and Edges to show the 3d detail in the stitching. I have begun a new piece- foggy and autumnal- see below. Will be away for a bit now. Going to the seaside.

  2. The detail is fascinating. I especially enjoyed the second. That view is almost like walkng along the field. What threads did you use for the brown 'spikes'? They appear to have some strength to them. I'm thinking it might be a linen thread?
Have fun at the seaside - hope where you're going is warmer than here!

    1. Yes it is a stiff linen thread that holds the spikes, just right for twigs. Thanks for encouraging me to finish it.
