Meditation circle - borders.

Slowly putting in the borders on the meditation circle. There will be a circle in each corner, one for each season. Haven't worked out what is going in the rest of the border- maybe more circles? Have tried to get the borders straight! Much undoing. Need more tacking stitches I think.
This is Winter circle - same colours as the middle of the large circle. Turning cooler here in the mornings and evenings and with the Bank Holiday on Monday there is a definite turn of the seasons, as the children go back to school the following week. Have a good holiday weekend everyone, the weather is supposed to be warm and dry again.

    1. They certainly give me peace and relaxation so lets hope they circle out like ripples in a pond and give others that peace too.

    1. It is slow stitching so will take a while. But then all hand stitching is slow stitching!

  3. This piece is most intriguing and give that lovely sense of peace that comes from slow and thoughtful stitching over time.

Straight lines on fabric are always tricky. You think you've got them straight then all goes wonky when you stretch and hang the piece! Good luck!

  4. I love the idea of the borders. I'll enjoy seeing where you go with this. Hasn't this summer just flown by?

    1. Thanks, it is a slow stitch that I can pick up at any time. Waiting now for some autumn colour before I put in the next season circles. Yes the summer has flown by, but I don't like it too hot so this in between weather suits me better.
